The BioCide Labs Story
A Unique Case of Corporate Evolution
In 1996 a small group of developers formed a water mitigation company for the remediation and restoration of indoor water damaged structures. This new firm was designed to cater to the insurance, commercial, and residential communities, birthing what would eventually evolve into BioCide Labs. Due to their commitment to excellence in work and service, this new entity quickly became the preferred water mitigation contractor for many major insurance carriers.
After responding to numerous water damage calls, the founders realized that water damage itself was only one part of the remediation equation and that mold growth caused by the water damage was a much more problematic opponent. This problem affected not only the insurance companies, but the inhabitants of the now mold contaminated structures. Realizing that mold infestation was becoming a widespread public health concern, their team became Mold Certified in mold inspection, mold testing and mold remediation. Within 90 days of their announcement of their mold certifications, their entire business model evolved 100% into the Mold Service Profession, and within one year they became the number one mold remediation contractor in the Southeast.
Realizing that mold infestation was be-coming a widespread public health concern, their team became Mold Certified in mold inspection, mold testing and mold remediation.
As mold remediation specialists they tested and evaluated every product that claimed to be a mold specialty remediation product only to find out that many of their claims were overstated, and many products did not kill the mold at all. Striving for excellence and frustrated with the lack of product performance, they formed a team of experts in the fields of microbiology and chemistry, and developed their own line of EPA registered products. They designed their products to kill 99.9% of mold, fungi, bacteria, and viruses and made sure their products broke down mold spores at a chemical level.
“Striving for excellence…they formed a team of experts in the fields of micro-biology and chemistry, and developed their own line of EPA registered products.”
For more than a decade they have used their proprietary line of chemical formulas on their own remediation projects with unrivaled success. Their products have been effective in commercial and residential applications, military facilities, schools, hospitals, universities, daycare facilities, municipalities and retail outlets. As their product line evolved, they created a DIY division releasing their products to the public as well as mold service professionals worldwide, hence, the beginning of BioCide Laboratories Corporation. BioCide Labs is not just another chemical company, they are a group of seasoned, Board-Certified Mold Service Professionals with practical field experience in mold inspection, mold testing, and mold remediation.
